Conciliation Resources (CR) is an international non-governmental organization working to prevent violence, promote justice and transform conflict into opportunities for development. We work mainly in the Caucasus, Uganda and West Africa in partnership with local and international civil society organisations and governments. We publish Accord: an international review of peace initiatives, and are involved in projects in Colombia, Fiji and the Philippines. Our funding is through grants from governments, independent trusts and foundations.

International Alert (Alert) is an independent peacebuilding organisation that has worked for over 20 years to lay the foundations for lasting peace and security in communities affected by violent conflict. Our multi-faceted approach focuses both in and across various regions; aiming to shape policies and practices that affect peacebuilding; and helping build skills and capacity through training. Our regional work is based in the African Great Lakes, West Africa, the South Caucasus, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Colombia. Our thematic projects work at local, regional and international levels, focusing on cross-cutting issues critical to building sustainable peace. These include business and economy, gender, governance, aid, security and justice.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is one of the largest international relief and development NGOs, whose current strategic framework calls on the agency to pursue four interdependent objectives in its programming: build local capacity to meet immediate needs of vulnerable and marginalised populations; encourage participatory actions taken for the common good; transform the attitudes, behaviours, and practices that perpetuate conflict; and transform the systems and structures that perpetuate injustice.

CRS was a member of the Consortium during the first three years of its existence, from September 2003 to August 2006.
